Complicated Layers

(Photo by Dan Felstead of Wood and Pixels Narratives. If you have not checked out Dan's blog, you need to pop right over - he has some wonderful photographs.)

COMPLICATED LAYERS

Straddling the line between this world and that
The worlds are drawn together in relative uneasy safety
But are they safe, are they unobserved, blissfully unaware
Of the dark lurking menance living down below

We like to think there is only one world
But in all actuality the world is full of complicated layers
Can one exist without the other, we like to think that's true
Secure in our superiority, it's this logic that will be our downfall

I enjoy the thought provoking manner in which you "layer" your words. Glenn
