(Brenda Carolyn Devine Sallee, Christmas Eve 2009)... I'm sorry for being so out of touch, but I have some bad news to pass on to all my bloggy friends.
My mom passed away Sunday evening about 6pm. She was only 65 yo, but she had been in poor health for at least the past 6 months. We tried a few things in CCU to try and wake up her kidneys and other organs back up, but when we realized they weren't working, daddy made the decision - the right decision and mom's wishes - to turn all the machines off. She was in no pain and thankfully went peacefully.
Please keep my family in your prayers ...

Bobbi...you and your family are in our prayers and I am really sorry to hear the bad news. Something like this takes time to get past...take the grief...it is normal and part of human nature.
Things will be better with time...I promise.

Oh, Bobbi -- I'm so very sorry I didn't see this sooner. But you will be in my prayers as of this moment. You've had such a lot of loss in your life; I'm sorry you have to bid your mother farewell so early in her life -- and yours.
I will be thinking of you. I know everyone did their very best. But it is sad indeed.
